Mark Aubele

Mark Aubele is senior program manager – NDT, AQS, ETG, M&I. His career in NDT began as a United States Air Force Technician stationed at Pease Air Force Base in 1978. After four years Mark joined the Air Force Reserves where he managed an Air Force NDT lab which culminated in his retirement from the Air Force after serving for nearly 25 years.  Mark has also performed NDT inspections at nuclear power plants, construction sites and fabrication plants. In addition, for 12 years he was a college level Instructor of all five major NDT disciplines including PT, MT, RT, UT and ET in the evenings for the Community College of Allegheny County. Mark has held Level 3 certifications in all five major NDT disciplines and NAVSEA Examiner certification in PT, MT and UT.

At the Performance Review Institute (PRI), his duties involve managing multiple special processes including Nondestructive Testing (NDT), Measurement & Inspection (M&I), Electronics (ETG), and Aerospace Quality Systems (AQS). Personnel in those programs include six staff engineers and some 85 auditors culminating in over 1900 audits being conducted per year. His duties also involve being a certified Nadcap Lead auditor for NDT in the MT, PT, UT, ET, RT, DDA and CR methods as well as in AQS and Etch. Learn more about Nadcap at https://p-r-i.org/Nadcap.
