Michael W. Allgaier

Michael W. Allgaier, Allgaier Consulting and Training. Allgaier is a professional training executive and instructor best known for ethical, energetic and committed efforts to develop human resources. This was done through education, training, qualification, and certification of technical and management NDT personnel for over fifty years.

He received a Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University at Florham Park, NJ, and a Master of Science from the Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ. 

His ASNT honors include ASNT Fellow, Mentoring award, and Tutorial Citation Awards (2)

Manual or human manipulated NDT is still the primary means of performing Nondestructive Testing (NDT) in unique or one-off applications. Mechanical aids and/or computer assisted manipulation and scanning devices can reduce data gathering time on the site of the item being inspected.
